Month Nine: Curves

Nine months has passed since I cut off my left thumb tip.

The nail has regrown, however you may clearly see from the nail plate deformation how difficult it is for it grow. It also doesn’t stick evenly to the skin underneath in certain areas, and dirt gather in those cavities. I have to clean it out with peroxide to avoid inflammation.
You may also see the scars on the lower part of the thumb. The skin lines haven’t really restored there, so they just end abruptly on two skin pieces grown together. I guess I may have some problem with fingerprinting at certain paranoid embassies while applying for a tourist visa.
